Our events appear on our fixtures and are advertised in the weeks and months prior to taking place.

Annual Meet and Greet

We like to host a Meet and Greet Evening for our new and existing members before the season begins in April. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and socialise with fellow golf enthusiasts in our community.

The event is held in March at the Troon Links clubhouse. It's an informal evening with light refreshments provided. The purpose of the evening is to introduce new members to the club and to provide an opportunity for members to get to know each other better.

The Jubilee

Founded in 1911 and with Troon St Meddans Golf Club proudly serving as the host on behalf of Golf South Ayrshire every mid-May, the Jubilee Competition stands as a highly anticipated annual event. We consistently enjoy a great turnout of both our members and guests, making it a highlight of the year.

The St Meddans Open

The St. Meddans Open Competition is eagerly anticipated each year and draws a significant crowd. Taking place in early August, this event is known for its highly anticipated nature. Participants have the chance to win impressive prizes based on their standings, and there's also a raffle, prizes available on every hole, and the exciting "beat the pro" challenge.

Annual Awards Ceremony

Our annual prize-giving event takes place in the middle of November. It's an evening dedicated to celebrating our finalists and presenting them with their well-deserved trophies. Winners will have the opportunity to take a commemorative photo with their trophy. The evening features a delectable three-course meal, and we are honoured to have a guest speaker join us for the occasion. Please note, members are reminded that under no circumstances should you be taking trophies home with you. Please make sure to hand them back after your photo has been taken.
